Gundula grew up in a small town near the North Sea in northern Germany. At the ripe age of ten, she got her first analog camera. Over time, she began experimenting with various techniques, such as prism lenses and special lights, as well as the interaction of photographs with water and colours, to create dreamlike images that blur the boundary between fantasy and reality.
A decade on, Gundula moved to Berlin to study curative education and cultural studies. With a love for horizons, she often returns home to take a look into the distance and capture beautiful imagery. Gundula continues to reside in Berlin but works internationally.
